FHI 360 is a nonprofit human development organization that has worked in Bangladesh for more than 45 years. The U.S. government's Global Health Security (GHS) program supports the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Activity, which advances cross-sectoral efforts to identify, manage and respond to infectious disease threats. The Program Manager, Government Coordination & Partnerships provides strategic leadership and coordination for government engagement, stakeholder management and partnership development, serving as the primary focal point for national and subnational government agencies, development partners and other stakeholders, and also leads knowledge management, communication and branding for STRIDES. Reports to the Project Director, STRIDES Bangladesh. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so applicants are encouraged to apply early. Travel: 10% local and regional.

দায়িত্ব

• Develop and maintain project documentation, SOPs, knowledge products and knowledge-sharing systems
• Document and disseminate project achievements, success stories, lessons learned and best practices
• Coordinate communication materials including reports, presentations, newsletters and stakeholder updates
• Ensure project communications comply with FHI 360 and donor branding and visibility guidelines
• Lead strategic coordination with EpiC, other U.S. Department of State-funded mechanisms, development partners and technical institutions
• Strengthen multisectoral One Health collaboration across human health, animal health and environment sectors
• Serve as primary liaison between STRIDES and MOHFW, DGHS, IEDCR, DLS, MOFL, DoE and Points of Entry authorities
• Plan and coordinate government consultations, technical meetings and steering committee sessions, and facilitate approvals and clearances
• Monitor government policies and priorities related to Global Health Security and advise the project
• Support development of MOUs, partnership agreements and coordination frameworks
• Represent STRIDES at government meetings, technical working groups, workshops and donor consultations
• Develop stakeholder mapping and engagement plans and track decisions and action items

যোগ্যতা

• Master's degree in public health, Public Administration, International Development, Veterinary Medicine, Health Policy or another relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience working with government institutions, development partners and donor-funded health or development programs
• Strong understanding of the Government of Bangladesh's health sector structure, coordination mechanisms and policy environment
• Excellent negotiation, facilitation, interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prepare high-quality reports, presentations and official correspondence in both English and Bangla
