Principal Rotating Equipment Design Engineer

KBR is hiring a Principal Rotating Equipment Design Engineer. The role needs a Principal Mechanical Engineer with proven experience in the design and specification of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, seals, and specialty and utility equipment in the oil and gas, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore and/or infrastructure industries. Experience in FEED and detailed engineering of medium to large scale projects is required.

দায়িত্ব

• Lead a team of up to 10 mechanical engineers and designers
• Develop the discipline work plan
• Review and check equipment data sheets and specifications
• Perform technical studies such as compressor configuration, driver selection and life cycle cost studies, specialty equipment configuration, material handling and RAM studies
• Evaluate technical bids
• Perform packaged equipment reviews
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including clients, in rotating equipment
• Take responsibility for design integrity of the mechanical scope, performance of assigned staff and on-schedule delivery within budget

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 15 years' experience in the oil and gas, hydrocarbon, petroleum refinery, offshore and/or infrastructure industries
• Knowledge and understanding of design practices, construction practices and procedures
• Wide knowledge of codes and industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, NFPA, API, OSHA, ISA and NEC
• Wide knowledge of rotating equipment and turbomachinery systems, installation, pre-commissioning and mechanical completion
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards and procedures is an added advantage
