We're Hiring | Operations Finance Intern

Agriventure Limited is looking for a motivated and field-oriented Operations Finance Intern to join our Farmer Financing Operations team.

Base Location: Dhaka HQ

Field Travel: Rangpur | Bogura | Rajshahi | Jashore

Monthly Stipend: BDT 7,000

This is not a desk-only internship. The selected candidate will be based in Dhaka but will regularly travel to our operational zones to support and monitor farmer financing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular communication and coordination with partner banks and financial institutions

• Support the full farmer financing process — application, verification, documentation, approval, disbursement and repayment monitoring

• Conduct farmer field visits in Rangpur, Bogura, Rajshahi and Jashore

• Verify farmer profiles, land, crops/livestock, financing requirements and business activities

• Collect, review and maintain farmer KYC and financing documents

• Coordinate with regional teams and field officers regarding financing cases

• Visit agricultural input retailers/dealers and verify invoices, vouchers and product delivery

• Cross-check whether financed inputs/funds are being utilized for the approved purpose

• Maintain financing, disbursement, collection and recovery records

• Follow up on repayment status and support field recovery activities when required

• Identify documentation gaps, operational issues and overdue cases

• Prepare farmer financing reports, field updates and operational MIS

• Support reconciliation of financing and transaction records

• Maintain proper documentation and communication with banks, farmers, retailers and internal teams

• Work closely with the AVP – Operations and CEO on farmer financing operations, reporting and special assignments

Who should apply?

• Fresh graduates or final-semester students

• Background in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness or related disciplines

• Comfortable with frequent field travel outside Dhaka

• Strong communication, follow-up and documentation skills

• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with financial and operational data

• Interested in agritech, rural finance, farmer financing and financial inclusion

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to how agricultural financing works from bank coordination to the farmer field level.
