The Office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Taxes Zone-Narayanganj (HR Complex, Dhaka-Narayanganj Link Road, Purbo Isdair, Fatullah, Narayanganj), under the Internal Resources Division of the Ministry of Finance, is recruiting on a temporary basis to fill vacant Grade-13 to Grade-20 posts by direct recruitment from permanent residents of Narayanganj and Munshiganj districts (notice dated 26 October 2026, memo no. .../Niog-4/2026-2027/362). This listing is for 10 Office Assistant-cum-Computer Typist posts at Grade-16 of the national pay scale 2026 (Tk 21,900 - 52,900). The required qualification is Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent pass with at least second division or equivalent GPA, and candidates must be 18 to 32 years old on 1 October 2026.

Selection is by a written test, a practical test and a viva. Applications are online only, through the Taxes Zone-Narayanganj Teletalk recruitment portal (taxnar.teletalk.com.bd), from 28 October 2026 (10:00 AM) to 17 November 2026 (4:00 PM). The application fee is Tk 112 (Tk 100 fee plus Tk 12 Teletalk service charge), paid by two SMS messages from a Teletalk prepaid mobile to Teletalk, not to JobBangla, within 72 hours of submitting the form. • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent pass from a recognised board with at least second division or equivalent GPA
• Minimum computer typing speed of 20 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bangla
• Skill and experience in computer word processing, e-mail and fax machine operation
• Permanent resident of Narayanganj or Munshiganj district
• Age 18 to 32 years as of 1 October 2026; an affidavit is not accepted as proof of age and the latest government rules apply
• Not eligible if not a citizen of Bangladesh, married to or engaged to marry a non-citizen, or convicted by a criminal court of an offence involving moral turpitude
• Employees of government, semi-government and autonomous bodies must apply with their authority's permission; candidates already in the tax department select the Departmental Candidate option on the online form, and every employed candidate hands in the original no-objection letter at the viva
• Candidates claiming a quota must say so in the application; quota is applied as per government policy
• At the viva, bring original certificates with one attested photocopy set and two recent passport-size photographs (attested by a first-class gazetted officer), the citizenship certificate from the union parishad, municipality or city corporation, a character certificate from a first-class gazetted officer, the National ID or birth registration, and a colour print of the Applicant's Copy and Admit Card
• Selected candidates must submit a health fitness certificate from the Civil Surgeon of their district and have their background verified
• Application fee Tk 112 (Tk 100 fee plus Tk 12 Teletalk service charge); Tk 56 for small ethnic group, physically challenged and third gender candidates
• Online application and fee payment open 28 October 2026, 10:00 AM and close 17 November 2026, 4:00 PM
• Upload a colour photo (300x300 px, max 100 KB) and signature (300x80 px, max 60 KB) with the online form
• The application is not accepted until the fee is paid by SMS within 72 hours of getting the User ID
• Only one post may be applied for; incomplete or erroneous applications are cancelled
• No TA/DA is paid for the written, practical or viva exams
• Recruitment follows the Tax Department (Grade 10 to Grade 20 Employees) Recruitment Rules 2025; exam schedules are announced on the Taxes Zone-Narayanganj notice board, taxeszone-narayanganj.gov.bd and by SMS
• The authority may amend or cancel the circular in part or in full and may reduce or increase the number of posts
• Forged documents or false information lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage; lobbying disqualifies the candidate
