Future Design Apparel, a global-local apparel supplier serving brands, retailers and importers across woven, knit and sweater categories, is looking for a competent, experienced and results-oriented Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser (Woven) for its Uttara, Dhaka office. The ideal candidate has strong technical and commercial merchandising knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage orders independently from product development through final shipment. Candidates with substantial experience in Dress, Blouse, Bottoms and Outerwear merchandising will be given preference. দায়িত্ব

• Handle product development, consumption calculation and garment costing, including price negotiation
• Source fabrics, trims and accessories with a clear understanding of texture, drape, quality, pricing and lead times
• Prepare and maintain T&A (Time and Action) plans and follow up on orders independently with production teams
• Manage sample development and approval, coordinating with Fit Technicians and implementing fit comments
• Arrange shipment bookings, coordinate shipments and handle export documentation to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate directly with international buyers, Fit Technicians and Quality Teams to meet buyer requirements

যোগ্যতা

• Minimum graduate in any discipline; Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, Business or a related field preferred (may be relaxed for highly experienced candidates)
• Minimum 8 years of experience in woven and knitwear merchandising in the apparel industry
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a full-fledged Merchandiser (Woven)
• Preference for experience merchandising Dress, Blouse, Bottoms and Outerwear
• Basic pattern knowledge (DXF and manual), consumption calculation and garment costing expertise
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems and merchandising-related software
• Fluent spoken and written English with strong negotiation, presentation and coordination skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
