Lecturer – Healthcare Apprenticeships (Paramedic Science)

The role is for a registered paramedic to teach subjects that underpin paramedic science, such as academic, professional, and evidence-based practice skills. The lecturer will help develop safe, person-centred practice and contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and student support across healthcare apprenticeships. দায়িত্ব

• Design, deliver, and assess inclusive, evidence-informed learning across programmes, levels, and delivery modes
• Provide academic, pastoral, and personal support to apprentices
• Contribute to digital and simulation-based learning
• Support placement activity
• Help apprentices evidence off-the-job training and progress toward Apprenticeship Assessment or End-Point Assessment
• Work with academic colleagues, employers, and external partners

যোগ্যতা

• A relevant professional qualification and current HCPC registration as a Paramedic
• Experience teaching or supporting learning in higher education, or an equivalent clinical education role
• A recognised HE teaching qualification is desirable; otherwise, willingness to obtain one within an agreed timeframe
• Enhanced DBS check before commencement
• Understanding of safeguarding and the PREVENT agenda
