Mitali Group is a leading, export-oriented knit composite garments group in Bangladesh, engaged in the manufacturing and export of knitwear products for international markets. It is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and results-driven professional to lead its Marketing & Merchandising function as Executive Director (ED). The successful candidate must possess extensive hands-on experience in the knit garments industry, a strong international buyer network, proven business development capabilities, and the ability to achieve ambitious marketing and sales targets through personal leadership and initiative. দায়িত্ব

• Independently capable to handle USD 135-million export operations per annum.
• Develop and execute strategic marketing and merchandising plans to achieve the company's annual business, sales, and profitability targets.
• Lead the overall Marketing & Merchandising operations, ensuring sustainable business growth and maximum utilization of production capacity.
• Generate new business opportunities by developing strong relationships with international buyers, buying houses, brands, and sourcing offices.
• Maintain and expand existing buyer relationships while identifying and securing new buyers and export orders for knit garments.
• Take personal ownership of marketing targets, order booking, business development, and revenue growth.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the Marketing & Merchandising team to ensure accountability, productivity, and timely execution of business objectives.
• Oversee buyer communication, product development, costing, price negotiation, order confirmation, and merchandising follow-up.
• Ensure effective coordination among Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Production, Quality, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor market trends, buyer requirements, competitors' activities, product developments, and changing global sourcing dynamics.
• Negotiate commercially viable prices and terms to ensure order profitability and long-term customer relationships.
• Prepare and present regular business performance reports, order booking forecasts, marketing pipelines, and strategic recommendations to top management.
• Establish strong systems for monitoring individual and team performance against KPIs, sales targets, and business growth objectives.

যোগ্যতা

• Postgraduate in any discipline.
• Degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.
• Minimum 18-20 years of relevant professional experience in the knit garments industry, preferably in export-oriented knit composite manufacturing.
• Substantial experience in senior leadership positions within Marketing, Merchandising, or Business Development.
• Demonstrated success in securing export orders, developing international buyers, and achieving ambitious marketing targets.
• Strong, established relationships with international buyers, buying houses, brands, and sourcing offices.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of knitwear products, costing, pricing, merchandising, order execution, production coordination, and export business operations.
• Proven ability to lead large teams, make strategic business decisions, and drive measurable commercial results.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of English, including professional communication with international buyers.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally whenever required.
