Job Ref R-145813, full time, Dhaka. The Director PACS leads, develops and executes the PACS strategy for Bangladesh and makes sure every PACS initiative is aligned with the overall system objectives. The role builds and coordinates relationships with policy and lawmakers, regulatory bodies, tax authorities, industry associations, civil society and the US mission, formulates policy positions, runs a comprehensive communications plan with the PR agency, manages the incident (crisis) management programme, guides bottling partners on PACS priorities, ESG compliance and social licence, and leads sustainability programmes and relationships with sustainability partners. • Lead, develop and execute a PACS strategy for Bangladesh and ensure all PACS initiatives and projects are aligned with the overall system objectives
• Establish and coordinate stakeholder relationships with policy and lawmakers, regulatory bodies, tax authorities, industry associations, civil society and the US mission
• Formulate policy positions and draft representations on policy priorities, and create a mechanism to safeguard the company from policy and regulatory shocks
• Actively engage with industry associations and hold a seat on relevant committees
• Lead and implement a comprehensive communications plan with support from the PR agency
• Guide and partner with bottling partners on specific PACS priorities and issues, ESG compliance and social licence efforts, using the Global PACS framework and guidance
• Manage a comprehensive Incident Management Program (crisis management) and coordinate security management with the OU and Global Security Team in Atlanta
• Collaborate closely with the PACS team and leverage the company's brands and marketing assets to enhance corporate brand reputation and business
• Support the consumer response system to enhance the brands while minimising the impact of consumer concerns through proactive engagement
• Work with external consultants (PR agency, government relations and tax consultants) and experts to lead, develop and execute the system PACS charter
• Explore and develop new sustainability programmes with support from TCCF
• Lead all relationships with sustainability partners and monitor TCCF projects to deliver impact

যোগ্যতা

• Advanced degree from a university (for example an MBA or other master's) or equivalent
• Approximately 15 years or more of experience
• Knowledge of the company's business, financial performance, products and their technical details, and of the business value chain, including the role of packaging and its impact on the business
• Understanding of issues such as tax, plastics packaging, water security and other potential risks to the business
• Knowledge of the policy and regulatory landscape of Bangladesh and experience working with government bodies, the tax authority, industry associations and NGOs
• Understanding of how industry associations function and the ability to build relationships and achieve consensus in conflicting situations
• People management and coalition-building skills
• Understanding of brand marketing, corporate communication strategies, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement and execution of events and promotions
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop measurable PR strategies
• Passion for the cause and a positive, can-do attitude
