The University of Rajshahi is recruiting one Computer Operator for its Medical Centre under Notice No. 02/2026 (Auxiliary). The post is in Grade 11 of the National Pay Scale 2026 (Tk 25,000-60,500). Selection is through a written test and a practical test, with weight on typing speed and practical office-computer skills.

The application fee is Tk 500 per post (service charge included); a candidate applying for more than one post must apply and pay separately for each. After the online application, 8 copies of the application on plain paper with the required documents must reach the Registrar's office by 26 November 2026, 4:00 PM. দায়িত্ব

• Operate and maintain the Medical Centre's computer systems and office software
• Install operating systems and other necessary software and hardware, and set up internet connectivity
• Prepare documents and records using word processing and spreadsheet software
• Manage data and databases and support email and online information handling

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university; candidates below second division / CGPA 2.75 (4.00 scale) cannot apply
• At least 2 years' service as Data Entry Operator or an equivalent post (Grade 14)
• Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute in Bangla (Bijoy keyboard) and 30 words per minute in English
• Skills in operating systems, installing software and hardware, internet setup, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email
• Knowledge of database management and database design, and of computer network upkeep
• Must pass the written test (100 marks: Bangla, English, mathematics, general knowledge and professional subjects) and the practical test (100 marks); minimum pass mark 40% in each, 60% overall
• Minimum age 20 years
• One condition is relaxable for in-service and specially qualified candidates, but the basic educational qualification is required
