Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, part of Minor Hotels' Anantara brand, is hiring a Cluster Senior Sales Manager - MICE to build and manage meetings, incentives, conferences and events business: managing own accounts alongside the Director of Sales and Marketing's key accounts, establishing new client contacts, and upselling and cross-selling Anantara products.

• Fully understand the business strategy and positioning of the Anantara brand and articulate it effectively in the marketplace
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Anantara products and services and of competitors' products, rates and new developments
• Manage own accounts, secondary to the Director of Sales and Marketing's key accounts from various segments
• Conduct a minimum of 60 sales calls a month, 10 client entertainments and site inspections
• Record all activities in SFA or S&C
• Review the actual production of each account against its potential and agree improvements with department leadership
• Assertively establish new client contacts and develop detailed information on potential revenues from these accounts
• Achieve personal financial and non-financial performance objectives
• Maintain accurate management status reporting on business results and action planning
• Practice effective cost control and follow internal procedures for approval of expenditure
• Participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections, MICE sales trips and road shows as required
• Liaise with operational colleagues to ensure accurate delivery of the hotel's promise
• Drive opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Anantara products
• Maintain full working knowledge of sales IT tools, property PMS and the Microsoft Office toolset
