Sheraton Dhaka, part of Marriott International, is hiring for the position of Chief Engineer in Dhaka, Bangladesh (full-time, on-site). Manages all engineering/maintenance operations, including the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention to safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation, and leads the emergency response team for facility issues. দায়িত্ব

• Supervise Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering
• Assist in managing the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems
• Maintain and operate equipment at optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety
• Establish and manage an effective rooms maintenance program
• Ensure compliance with all Engineering departmental policies, standards and procedures
• Manage the department's controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
• Select and order or purchase new equipment, supplies, and furnishings
• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the type of work required
• Maintain accurate logs and records, and plan, schedule and evaluate preventative maintenance programs

যোগ্যতা

• High school diploma or GED; 4 years of engineering and maintenance or related experience; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing, OR
• 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics or a related major; 2 years of engineering and maintenance or related experience; technical training in HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing
