UNIVERSITY OF DHAKA: Applications in prescribed form are invited from Bangladeshi nationals for filling up 03 (Three) permanent posts of Assistant Professors in the Department of Sociology. Pay scale for the post of Assistant Professors: Tk. 35,500-67,010/- according to the national pay scale 2015. Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel. Application Guideline: Candidates have to fill the online application form and pay the application fee of Tk. 750 (Seven Hundred and Fifty) by logging on to https://jobs.du.ac.bd.

যোগ্যতা

• First class/minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 in BSS and MSS degree in Sociology
• First division/minimum GPA of 4.25 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations (relaxable for candidates with the highest CGPA in BSS and MSS)
• At least 3 years of teaching experience at a university, or at least 2 years of post-doctoral research, or at least 6 years of research experience as a research/scientific officer or equivalent at a reputed research organization
• Candidates with a PhD should have at least 1 year of teaching experience at a university
• At least 3 research publications in indexed/quality journals with a DOI (articles in predatory journals not accepted)
• Must have Google Scholar, LinkedIn, and ORCID ID
• Candidates already in government/other service must apply through the proper channel
