It works to improve farmers' access to institutional financing, agricultural inputs, market linkages, technical support and sustainable business opportunities. The company is looking for a results-driven Assistant Manager – Field Operations & Farmer Network to lead its nationwide field activities, strengthen farmer engagement, improve operational efficiency and support the growth of its agricultural financing and agribusiness initiatives. The selected candidate will oversee field operations, farmer verification, field team management, agricultural financing support and coordination with institutional partners. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build effective operational systems, manage geographically distributed teams and translate business objectives into measurable field-level results. Job location: Dhaka, Bangladesh (with frequent field visits across Bangladesh). Employment type: Full-time. Department: Operations.

দায়িত্ব

• Lead and supervise field teams across assigned districts and agricultural regions
• Develop field deployment plans, operational targets and farmer engagement strategies
• Recruit, train, coach and evaluate field personnel
• Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews and operational audits
• Oversee farmer onboarding, field verification, documentation and data accuracy
• Coordinate with partner banks and financial institutions to support agricultural financing applications
• Monitor the progress of farmer financing cases and resolve operational bottlenecks
• Ensure transparent documentation, appropriate verification and compliance with internal procedures
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), reporting systems and performance dashboards
• Monitor field productivity, turnaround times, data quality and operational costs
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through digital tools and process automation
• Prepare regular operational reports and performance updates for senior management
• Support agricultural trading, input distribution, farmer services and market linkage initiatives
• Coordinate with farmers, traders, agricultural service providers and institutional partners
• Assist in launching new agricultural projects and expanding operations into new markets
• Identify field-level challenges and recommend practical, commercially viable solutions
• Build a high-performing, accountable and customer-focused field operations team
• Collaborate with Finance, Business Development, Technology and other internal departments
• Maintain strong relationships with farmers, banks, NGOs, buyers and other business partners
• Ensure timely execution of projects, achievement of targets and continuous operational improvement

যোগ্যতা

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Management or a related discipline; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage
• At least 3 years of experience in operations, field operations, agribusiness, agricultural finance, distribution or a related sector
• At least 1.5 years of experience managing field teams or geographically distributed operations
• Proven ability to develop operational processes, manage multiple projects and deliver measurable results
• Strong understanding of farmer onboarding, field verification, documentation, reporting and performance management
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and operational reporting tools
• Fluency in Bangla and working proficiency in English
• Willingness to travel extensively across Bangladesh and work closely with rural communities
• Preferred: experience in AgriTech, FinTech, microfinance, banking, agricultural supply chains, livestock, fisheries, poultry or development projects
