The London School of Economics and Political Science (Department of Management) is recruiting an Alumni Relations Manager on a full-time 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, £43,277 to £51,714 per year inclusive, with potential to progress to £55,497 inclusive of London allowance. The Department seeks a self-starter to join the Careers, Alumni and Employer Relations (CAER) team and build on its alumni engagement strategy. The Department is the School's largest, with over 70 faculty, 50 professional services staff and associate guest lecturers and teachers, serving about 350 undergraduate, 800 MSc, 30 PhD and 150 Executive students, with over 22,000 alumni. • Develop and oversee a coordinated programme of alumni events that benefits both alumni and current students
• Make sure the alumni relations strategy fits within the CAER team's overall strategy and supports the employability and success of students and alumni
• Lead data-driven marketing and communications strategies to increase alumni engagement with the Department

• Previous experience in alumni relations, philanthropy, business development or a related area
• Understanding of the alumni relations profession and experience managing external relationships
• Excellent communication and networking skills
• Ability to initiate projects
• Strong collaboration and organisational skills
• A strategic outlook, and confidence using data and market insights to inform decisions
